Polk County Fair

Polk Prevention and Recovery Alliance was proud to attend the Polk County Fair! We enjoyed talking with community members and educating them on great resources like the Georgia Crisis & Access Line and the GA 911 Amnesty Law!

PPRA partnered with The Council on Alcohol and Drugs as part of their community showcase program. With funding from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), we were able to purchase and give away safe storage lockboxes and other resources. The lockboxes are the ideal way to safely store medications in the home.

A BIG thank you to TCAD’s Shannon Lawson for helping PPRA in planning efforts. Lydia Goodson from Mosaic Place also joined to help promote recovery and how to better understand life-saving tools like narcan!

If you have a local event coming up, let us know! We would love to join and support community efforts!
